The walls of the main bar are covered in memorabilia, original paintings and artefacts, giving the “Brig” a truly authentic feel, while the “snug”’s bare stone walls and gorgeous open fire place creates a cosy, rustic environment, sure to warm the senses.

Since the olden days, The Saltwater Brig has been providing great craic and great food to generations, establishing a reputation for a warm welcome and a great atmosphere. For those looking for a hearty pub meal, the dining room seats approximately 25 people, with an optional waiter service. Functions for families and friends will be catered for.

Not only does the Saltwater Brig include a gorgeous homely bar and a seperate dining area, but for those looking for amusement, the games room includes a plasma tv, pool table, games and a juke box, ensuring a good time for all.

For the pleasant weather, or for those who can pull themselves away from the open fire-place, al fresco dining is available, which gives a stunning, elevated view over the Strangford Lough, and in the summertime, a stone-wall barbecue provides visitors with a fabulous summer pub experience. The Brig provides extensive car-parking which suits both family cars and coach parties. Open Mon 12 noon-2.30pm, Tue-Fri 12 noon-2.30pm & 5-7.45pm, Sat 12 noon-9pm, Sun 12 noon-8pm.
